Well after the highs of camp and witnessing what God has done in the camp, I came back all refreshed and full of zest for the Lord.
Then my friend told me our examination results were available online.
Reality crashed down on me.
I didn't do well. I knew I was struggling badly with school. And I sort of knew my results were not going to be ideal, but nevertheless I still felt a sense of helplessness as I stared at the results.
I'm not going to be wishy-washy about my results. I got 2 B+, 1 B, and 2 C+. A Cap of just 3.28. Not enough for a 2nd Lower.
Being ever the jovial and happy-go-lucky kind of person, I know eventually I'll take this in my stride, but perhaps this time, I will smile more not because I know I've got what it takes to do well next semester, but rather I know God is in control.
I hope I haven't dampen the high of everybody after the camp! Press on and rise to God's calling everybody!

As people who love God and His Word, we want to actively serve Him and excite those around us to do likewise (ignited).
We also want to actively seek and save the spiritually lost (lifesavers).
Last but not least, like 'tiles' used in construction, we want to help lay the 'tiles' and build God's church on earth.
